Job description
1. ORGANISATIE Rapporteert hiërarchisch aan een Team Leader Engineering en operationeel aan een werkpakketmanager.

2. DOEL VAN DE FUNCTIE Een bijdrage leveren aan het ontwerp van deelsystemen en componenten binnen projecten binnen één vakgebied, middels of het analyseren of het testen, binnen de vastgestelde methoden en technieken in technische handboeken.

3. FUNCTIE-INHOUD OP HOOFDLIJNEN
• Levert een bijdrage aan het analyseren, specificeren, ontwerpen, verifiëren en documenteren van subsystemen en/of componenten, ter realisatie van een deelproduct, binnen de richtlijnen van een project.
• Stelt aan de hand van een testplan de testprocedures en –predicties op, voert test uit, analyseert testresultaten, stelt testrapport op. Coördineert de voorbereiding en uitvoering van de test op locatie.
• Levert een bijdrage/ondersteuning bij de realisatie en ingebruikstelling van (deel) systemen bij de (interne) klant.
• Controleert ontwerp en productietekeningen op het eigen vakgebied.
• Volgt ontwikkelingen en informeert de teamleader over ontwikkelingen binnen het vakgebied.

4. COMMUNICATIE INTERN EN EXTERN

Intern • Met collega’s om werkafstemming te realiseren.

Extern • Met klanten op locatie om te informeren bij de in gebruikstelling van systemen. • Met extern testhuis en klanten om een test voor te bereiden en op locatie uit te voeren (werkafstemming).

Job Description

1. Organization

Reports hierarchically to a Team Leader Engineering and operationally to a work package manager.

2. Purpose of the Role

Contribute to the design of subsystems and components within projects in a specific field, either through analysis or testing, following established methods and techniques outlined in technical manuals.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the analysis, specification, design, verification, and documentation of subsystems and/or components for the realization of a sub-product within project guidelines.
• Develop test procedures and predictions based on a test plan, conduct tests, analyze results, and prepare test reports. Coordinate the preparation and execution of on-site tests.
• Support the realization and commissioning of (sub)systems for the (internal) client.
• Review designs and production drawings within the relevant field.
• Stay informed about developments in the field and update the team leader accordingly.

4. Internal and External Communication

Internal: Coordination with colleagues to align work activities.

External:

• Informing clients on-site during system commissioning.
• Coordinating with external test houses and customers to prepare and conduct tests on location.

5. Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/Academic level).
